“ This is the beginning of a new day. You have been given this day to use it as you will. You can waste it or use it for good. What you do today is important because you are exchanging a day of your life for it. When tomorrow comes, this day will be gone forever; in its place is something that you have left behind… Let it be something good. ”

Additional information about an organisation that we hold close to our heart.

Ti Gout Dlo (Little Drop of Water) are doing great things - they are a Belgian charity supporting Haitian children in need. 1Life and Ti Gout Dlo are two separate entities, yet are united around a fundamental principle: to do everything possible to preserve life under the best conditions.

Ti Gout Dlo (Little Drop of Water) was created the day after the earthquake which devastated Haiti in January 2010. Its main priority being to provide housing for the orphaned children.

Thanks to the generosity of its members, the organisation could begin building an orphanage in Léogane, a small port town near Port-au-Prince. Today, there are almost 30 children who benefit from the charity’s support.

Giving aid to children in need is the core of Ti Gout Dlo’s mission which aims to create a loving and supportive environment that allows the children to (re)build their lives whilst activating their potential to transcend their trauma.

The charity helps the children to become independent adults by giving them the opportunity to continue their studies for as long as possible.

The Haitian State does not provide any financial assistance, so the association depends solely on funds that are raised through sponsorships, donations and organised events. Their entire Belgian team is totally dedicated to the association and work on a voluntary basis.
